Join friends and members of the Haunted Pamlico team for a discussion of the paranormal outside reputedly haunted locations. Scheduled guests include skeptics, researchers Catherine Ward and Beth Moulton, local historian Jack Willard, Terry Rollins of the Washington Haunts ghost walk, and others. Beth, Catherine, and other team members will offer their on-the-spot impressions of the spirits believed to be tied to some historic properties and will talk about their ghost-hunting methods. We’ll also open the floor for you to tell your favorite personal ghost stories, as time permits.
The tour group will gather at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 in Historic Downtown Washington, NC on the sidewalk at the Festival Park sign. From there, the group will proceed to various and reportedly haunted spots on Water and Main streets. There is no charge for this event, but we will accept donations on behalf of our pending arts nonprofit, Alternative Stage.
Please wear bright-colored and/or reflective clothing and consider bringing a flashlight. If you have mobility problems, please send us a private message so that we can arrange to meet with you at specific and accessible places along the route. We encourage participants to remain on the sidewalks during the tour. We cannot guarantee manifestations, but we hope to offer you a fun and informative evening. We present this event for entertainment purposes. For additional information, send us a message on Facebook or email hauntedpamlico1@gmail.com.
If there is inclement weather on the night, we will reschedule this event on a date to be announced.
